Presents “Muki’s Universe”, a solo exhibition by Hong Kong- and Shenzhen-based artist Ling LIN (Lingmuki). This showcase invites viewers to step into a vibrant, dreamlike world through the artist’s whimsical character, “Little Muki,” and rediscover the forgotten tenderness of childhood.

In this intimate body of work, Ling opens a portal to a universe where vulnerability is transformed into strength and imagination offers a path to healing. Little Muki—a character inspired by a vintage childhood fishing game—exists in the delicate space between object and human, innocence and intricacy. Through the character’s adventures, the exhibition explores a landscape shaped by invisible forces that mirror the beautiful yet often unstable nature of our own lives.

The exhibition highlights Ling’s sophisticated mixed-media practice, seamlessly blending oil, Chinese painting, watercolor, acrylic, and ceramics. Rooted in refined Chinese aesthetics, each piece balances fragility and resilience, encouraging viewers to reconnect with their own personal memories and notice the subtle details of life that are often left unseen.
